(Thats not to say Saddam Hussein isn't a corrupt thug, just that he couln't possible get a fair trial from George W. Bush. Of course George W. Hitler couldn't possiblely get a fair trial in Baghdad for murdering thousands of Iraqi citizens in an illegal unconstitutiona war, but that doesn'nt mean George W. Bush isn't a serial murderer)

A Wave of Red Hits the News (tags)
In China, propaganda dominates the airwaves and the publications, freedom is not a cherished idea, and dissent automatically leads to incarceration or death. The media is just another arm of one of the most oppressive governments in the world. In America, we watch our rights to free speech and to a responsible media system dwindle. We aren't as bad as China yet, but we certainly aren't the democracy we used to be. It's time to take action through more grassroots media work and through enacting legislative reforms for mainstream media. // Copyright 2006, Sasha A. Rae, All Rights Reserved

GEORGE SOROS' EVIL EMPIRE IS EXPOSED (Attn: LA Indymedia) (tags)
This is an interesting analysis of Billionaire finanical predator, George Soros, and his covert funding and sponsorship of the pro-establisment "Peace movement" in the USA. Soros' empire not only has its tentacles in the Peace movement but also in the (cough, cough)"Alternative" media outlets which have desperately tried to downplay and smear any questioning of US government sponsorship/involvement in 9-11 as "conspiracy theory." Soros has also provided funding to Indymedia(!) with its contribution to LA Indymedia during the protests at the Democratic Party convention in 2000.
