B) To the jurisdiction of El Salado [The Salted] (and the entire area of the Municipality Del Carmen de Bolívar), the military and territorial competition of the Bafim5 was discontinued, taken out, removed; and the military and territorially competition given, taken charge, commended, to the Bacim31 [Contra-guerrillas Battalion of No. 31]. C) In consequence, the jurisdiction of El Salado [The Salted] and the whole area of the Municipality Del Carmen de Bolívar, were under the protection and territorial competition, of the Contra-guerrillas Battalion of No. 31 (Bacim31), and not of the Bafim5.

Posting of a news story from the Santa Rosa California Press Democrat: about Pacific Lumber Co. filing bankruptcy. That is the lumber company that Juli Butterfly Hill was tree sitting about as an Earth First advocate. The question of Pacific Lumber spending too much money when they funded a recall campaign against the Humboldt County District Attorney that had charged them with fraud, is also posed. Anti-Sweatshop Activists Targeted in Denver (tags)
As part of an ongoing investigation surrounding a case of vandalism at a Kohl’s clothing store on December 9, 2000, the Jefferson County District Attorney's office established a GRAND JURY and issued subpoenas to a local activist, Doug Bohm, and former Denver Justice and Peace Center staff member, David Martin, to testify. On May 17th Bohm was found in contempt of court and taken into custody for “failing to follow a court order that involved his testimony before a grand jury," said Pam Russell, spokeswoman for the Jefferson County District Attorney's office. Martin is scheduled to appear before the Grand Jury on May 31st.
