David McCullough, at Boston College, Sees No Evil (tags)
What is the role of the intellectual in the Age of Bush and Cheney? On May 19, 2008, David McCullough, gave a commencement address at Boston College, a Jesuit institution. He never said one critical word about the Iraq War or the serial lies of the Bush-Cheney Gang that got the U.S. involved in that Neocon-inspired conflict. I believe Mr. McCullough missed an opportunity to speak out and to inspire the students to take their country back.
America’s Robespierre: President George W. Bush? (tags)
There is a Robespierre-like clone residing in our White House! His name is George W. Bush. Thanks to a book by Dr. Justin A. Frank, entitled: “Bush on a Couch,” we know a lot more about him and his dysfunctional upbringing. Like Robespierre, Bush is a fanatic on both politics and religion. A “dry drunk,” he won’t seek treatment or own up to his responsibility for the Iraqi War. In the mold of a whacky Robespierre, he also sees himself as the liberator of Iraq!
How Not to Interview Donald Rumsfeld (tags)
Cal Thomas is a Right Wing hack, who has shilled for the bloodbath that is the Iraqi War. On Dec. 7, 2006, he interviewed Donald Rumsfeld, the outgoing Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon. “BaWa Walters, herself, couldn’t have done a worst job of puffery. No questions were asked by Thomas about U.S. or Iraqi casualties, WMD, or the fact that Rumsfeld has been charged with war crimes. Thomas’ shameless spiel mocks the idea of a Free Press.

What would the world look like, if in 1948, the state of Israel hadn’t been created? Unfortunately, President Harry S. Truman, under the “influence of the Zionists,” gave his endorsement to that violence-inspiring project. Since that time, life for the Palestinans has become a hell-on-earth under the heel of Israel’s brutal Death-Mayhem-&-Occupation Machine. John Lennon said, “Imagine there’s no countries.” Okay, let’s imagine: There is no Israel!
Is Hell Too Good for the Iraqi Warmongers? (Satire) (tags)
Do you wonder if the Iraqi warmongers will ever be punished for their evildoings? Well, thanks to one of Italy’s greatest sons, Dante Alighieri, there is a way to find out. He wrote “The Divine Comedy,” the first book of which is about his descent into Hell. It’s called, “The Inferno.” With a little imagination, Dante was sent forward to the year 2065. He reprised his trip to the Inferno for us and forwarded an account of what he had witnessed.
