I contacted the address supplied on the Venice Peace March outreach material and ended up doing this interview with Jim Smith. The Venice Peace March is a weekly event that joins the throngs on the boardwalk headed south in a concrete group singing and giving it up for peace.
Venice Peace March- Holy Peace Freakout (tags)
This image occured at the end of the peace march down Venice Boardwalk. The weekly sunday boardwalk occurs at approximately 2:00 PM - starting at Rose and the Boardwalk. It winds its way amongst the crowds and stops at a wide spot on the concrete. At this point, anyone in the crowd has access to speak on the war- pro con, whatever. This dude with the cobras and soccer ball was doin' his thing. Ya dig?
