A though provoking exhibition featuring artwork created with social activism as its inspiration. The exhibit explores the inventive objects and strategies created by artists in response to the environmental, political and social issues of our time. The objects featured will include protest art meant for public display as well as tools for socially conscious living.

Co-sponsored by the Armory Center for the Arts and the Center for the Study of Political Graphics, SHOW: The Flag is a collaborative exhibition of art with a public discussion that focuses on the portrayal and display of the American flag. Included are historical works produced as early as the 1960s, as well as artworks inspired by the September 11 attacks and their aftermath.
