Internal problems at Pacifica stations still plague the network. While the major battle at Pacifica was won early this year, the war against a corporate style hierarchy is not over. It was this very hierarchy which enabled the General Managers to abuse their power within the stations in the first place. In order for meaningful change to occur, this structure should change, not just the personalities. Please see attached open letter by KPFK staff, highlighting problems and suggesting some solutions.
