Thousands of Activists Rally in Jo'burg to Challenge World Leaders at Environmental Summit (tags)
Under the theme "A Sustainable World is Possible, " the Global People's Forum has officially opened up at an Expo Center 14 miles from the official site. Activists and NGO's will gather there for a variety of activities, rallies, and workshops on various sustainability issues ranging from environmental justice, water scarcity, and strengthing local economies.
