Today at East Los Angeles College, supporters of Bernie Sanders for President registered voters in the Free Speech area on campus. Rosario Dawson, Josh hutcherson, Frances Fisher, and Sir Maejor were celebrities who came out to encourage voter registration.
Ludacris was forced to talk about our protest! (tags)
Last night, in the rain, we stood outside of the Ludacris concert in protest. Our information flier read, "We believe strongly in the right to free speech; we're not trying to shut down the concert. But we also believe in activism and education as a means to bring about a more just and egalitarian society."

In California, all three candidates are scheduled to appear in Los Angeles on Sat. Oct. 9, 4 p.m., at Workmen's Circle; Sun. Oct. 10, 4 p.m., KRST African Spirituality and Unity Center; and Mon. Oct. 11, 1 p.m., Sunset Hall Senior Center.

Dr. Glenda Vittimberga was murdered and beheaded by a friend and former graduate student. So far, the media has virtually ignored it.
