Performed by Master Harpist Carolyn Sykes @ the Santa Monica Zen Center November 21, 2006 Tuesday 7:30pm Price: $20.00 Australian-born harpist CAROLYN SYKES has been performing in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States for the past 30 years. Carolyn came to Los Angeles nearly 12 years ago to study for her Masters Degree at the California Institute of the Arts. Since then, she has established her private teaching and performing studio, Pacific Harps, and performs extensively as a soloist for special events and with orchestras and other musical groups both locally and abroad. Carolyn's program for this evening's fundraising event will feature composers from Albeniz to Faure, and Ellington to Miles Davis and Chick Corea.
