The visions of a possible peace in Ukraine differ among all parties. For Russia, it is a matter of ensuring that Ukrainian territory no longer poses a threat to its own security. Therefore, it primarily wants to achieve the demilitarization of Ukraine. It must not become a deployment area for NATO.

Russia really wants only one thing: to prevent Ukraine from becoming a full NATO country. Against the background of the current overall political situation, the West's behavior points to one thing above all: Its own population is to be kept in suspense by a succession of shocks.

Revised: Michael Brown Story Killed All Focus To Semitic Hate Crimes in Gaza (January 4, 2 (tags)
In the first week of August heat was really coming to boil over massive and blatant war crimes perpetrated by Israelis against Palestinian civilians in Gaza this summer of 2014. Even Benjamin Netanyahu was busy contacting supposedly our U. S. Congress-people then in early August to shield his-self, and his likes, from war crime allegations and potential tribunals. Suddenly along came to the media radar Michael Brown’s death just when the world was in a real uproar about repeated violence and blatant attacks on civilians and children —knowing intuitively such attacks were deliberate crimes.

U.S. Government Playing Yahweh With Gulag Gitmo: (tags)
Many Americans, of Christian ancestry, were taught their (supposedly their) Judeo-Christian “God” (Anglo-Saxon term for Yahweh) knows all because he sees all. Yet if we put these powers into political terms and context—then these capacities are not much different from the current National Security Administration’s “Operation Prism” that has vast potential to know all about Americans and apparently the entire world of personal communications, as recently revealed by Glen Greenwald’s stories in British daily The Guardian. Thus we learn our Leviathan State can know everything and anything about anyone. By analyzing religion through a lens of political philosophy we can see the psychology of Judeo-Christian Yahweh’s exclusivity to power, as in “he” (anthropomorphized) holds all the cards, is thus the exemplar religious model for a political state of Monarchy (and privileges to a more or less self-select court elite).

Despite the truth many Senators were willing to vote for Charles Hagel, as more than worthy choice for Secretary of Defense, on-the-ground facts show we Americans are stuck with defense contractor and Israel-firster suck-ups like Lindsey Graham, and his whiny, albeit slick, style of political correctness, such as his recent show-trial stigmatizing anything that suggests criticism of Israel’s right-wing agenda. Graham’s strategy-driven limelight approach (clever as if concocted by some backroom weasel committee) had the chutzpa to point-blank ask Hagel during a recent Senate confirmation hearing, about some of his previous statements, with all the solemnity of “ordained” mortal sins from a Catholic cardinal, such as 1) “…the Jewish Lobby has a tendency to intimidate people up here…” 2) “…I’m not a Israeli Senator I’m a U.S. Senator…” and 3) “…this pressure makes us do dumb things at times…”.

Why Do They Like Children? (tags)
Whenever we hear about sexual predators in our society we, desire to take action and hunt them, bring them to justice and get them off the streets. On the news often we hear of rings of such people getting busted. Sometimes it's the internet and child pornographers, etc. Sometimes it's closer to home. Either way, we're glad they're busted, exposed and off the streets. We consider that a high priority for law enforcement, wouldn't you agree? The safety, welfare and protection of our kids comes first and foremost, prior to anything else. We feel it in the pit of our stomachs, instinctively, whether we have kids or we don't, we must make them safe.

Why Hillary Rod-Iron Clinton Should Be Retired (tags)
Hillary Clinton seems much a mess. Possessed actually, as her appearance, attitude and demeanor, at times, suggests she is in some movie and her character is veering to evil antagonist or machination machine—militantly bureaucratic and all gang mobsters of huge government might imply. Enough with feminist, protectionism claims she is being judged because she is a woman to different standards. Yes there was a terrible and concerted propaganda war to incite hatred against Bill in any way possible as well as everything Democrats ever stood for (or purported). Yet now she is equally manipulated by forces beyond her ken as psychologically blind invalid—because she has need to lash out at something—something society and powerful special interests will allow her unconscious anger to focus. One doesn’t have to understand the likes of Thomas Scheff’s Emotions and Violence: Shame and Rage in Destructive Conflicts to realize where she is coming from and likely to go. Deliberate and accidental humiliation does indeed motivate people to engage violence, which seems the very modus operandi of both Israel and the United States in relation to several Muslim groups.

This past week the leaders from ten member nations of the UN Security Council finally went ahead and voted to approve helping the Libyan rebels by imposing a no-fly zone over Libya. Gadhafi’s planes, ant-aircraft systems and some of his ground troops “posing a risk to civilians” are being targeted and that is a good thing as it is a measure of help and good faith with the size forces we currently have in the region we can easily provide. It is the least our nation can do (and in Libya the most we should do) as we made such a mess of Iraq, due to one administration basing everything on the say so of one person from Iraq and ignoring reams of evidence from multiple experts warning there was no justification for such action. Beware of Wikileaks: Or at least those leaks chosen by western “imperialist press" (tags)
"What is interesting here is the suggestion that the remarks are deep and valuable due to the author’s so-called ‘knowledge’ of the Euro-Asian mafia. The inclusion of Belarus in this ‘leak’ is particularly puzzling. Belarus has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe. The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has been continuously re-elected since 1994, due to his progressive social policies and no one denies his obvious popularity. Yet he is consistently slandered as a ‘dictator’. While Belarus does have close connections with Russia, relations between the two countries have soured recently over energy disputes, geopolitical differences and Belarus’s refusal to pursue free-market policies. Belarus and Alexander Lukashenko in particular, has been indefatigably demonised in the international press for his refusal to privatise the Belarusian economy, opening up publicly owned industries to international, finance capital mafia. President Lukashenko’s refusal to indebt his country through IMF loans together with the robust performance of the Belarusian economy since the outbreak of the global economic crisis, have won the Belarusian leader the praise and close friendship of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, who has described Belarus as model socialist economy. Yet Wikileaks considers a flippant and mendacious comment by a Spanish prosecutor to be ‘deep and valuable’? Here we can see ideology masquerading as objective truth. A flippant opinion by a Spanish prosecutor is considered ‘deep and valuable’ because he should know such things. The Wikileak is in reality not a revelation at all. It is simply the publication of a highly dubious statement with an ideological assumption appended. Here the Wikileak serves to bolster the negative view of the country engineered by the acolytes of the corporate media to demonise a respectable socialist democracy. Far from undermining US imperialism, this Wikileaks ‘revelation’ slanders a law-abiding country by associating it with criminality and terrorism."

When Authors Are Authoritative (tags)
It is not mere coincidence the word authority takes command from the word author, or a group of authors acting as a united force. Both words are coequal and stem from the idea that some form of egotistic persuasion has come to dominate or rule. This authoritarian reality is true irrespective of whether people put their faith in law, religion, articulated ideology, or any other form of persuasive power. Yet there is little doubt that the most effective form of authority, if believed, is that which speaks fore an endgame result of lasting spiritual finality—namely those clerics, that is how their personalities, claim to speak for an ultimate power of religion, and the ego-will of God, Yahweh or Allah. AUDACITY IN NORWAY!: It's a morbid joke, right? Barack Obama? Nobel Peace Prize? (tags)
The Audacity of Hype! Not since Henry Kissinger was given "the Peace Prize" in 1973 has the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize involved such a sad and tragic irony. Between now and delivering his "Peace" Prize acceptance speech, Obama will be sending drones to bomb mostly collaterally innocent people every week (in their homes, marketplaces, villages, and even wedding parties). He will be continuing to operate George 'Dubya' Bush's practically beyond-the-law, rendition-torture gulags (notoriously, Gitmo & Bagram). He will be expanding the technological advancements, types and potential "usability" of U.S. nuclear weapons (while supposedly also being awarded "for his attempts to curb nuclear proliferation"). And, he will be, upon their every request, militarily resupplying a racist apartheid state (Israel) with cumulatively billions of dollars worth of cluster, DIME and phosphorus bombs, no matter how many fleeing families upon whom that state will use those execrable terror weapons. The Nobel Peace Committee must still be high on the 'Obamalade' to make such a blatant mockery of what the Nobel prize for peace(!) should stand for. Or, should they now call it the Nobel "Peace Is War" Prize? [ --JA]

From book subtitled: The Authoritarian Nature of the Three Abrahamic Religions: as When God Became the Terrorist: The major thesis of this book is that authoritarianism, as a “human” personality trait, throughout history, has influenced both the “creation” and the “interpretation”, of religious and political dogma, and that this was even more so before there was a constituted division between Church and State. In Judeo-Christianity and Islamic authority, to some extent, is the egotistic imprint of monotheism in which God basically is perceived to have a “psychological” ego consciousness able to understand and communicate with the human ego consciousness of mankind. Particularly, we will want to focus on the ideas of justice—both the ideas of divine metaphysical justice and human social justice. According to Daniel Defoe, in no trivial sense, “Justice is the end of government”.

Cults of Unreason and the End of Species (tags)
People today seem perplexed as civilisation as we know it plummets into the abyss. Yet, in the broad sense, the future is entirely predicable. The much lauded system of economic rationalism has resulted in huge disparities in wealth comparable to ancient societies; the wealth of Pharaoh-God-Kings of the past was staggering and in stark contrast to the wealth of their subjects. The peoples’ living standards were maintained at ‘adequate‘ levels to ensure a fit work/slave force for their rulers – remind you of anything, are you able to draw any comparisons today? In fact ancient Egypt (utilising modern poverty statistics) would have fared better in the social sense than most of today’s societies. So much for economic rationalism and laissez-faire capitalism! The inequity of today’s economic reality is far from mysterious; however, one mystery remains, the masses of today tolerate far greater inequities than the masses of yesterday.

Frustrate the Ph 200-million plot to install Dy as governor of Isabela (tags)
The impending proclamation of new politics icon Grace Padaca winning by a slim yet clear margin, is now at a standstill as there is a plot to deliberately delay and rig the results of Isabela polls in favor of the challenger, former governor Benjamin Dy. A deluge of legal maneuvers have been launched to buy time and frustrate Padaca's proclamation. We have sources inside the COMELEC that indeed, a plot to install Dy as Isabela governor has been ordered by no less than Mrs. Gloria Arroyo herself. To ensure its implementation, Abalos had been paid P200 million. Abalos currently oversees Northern Luzon in this year's electoral exercise. GMA promised the Dys that the latter shall regain control of the Isabela Capitol by all means, in exchange for the latter's (dynasty's) loyalty.

There is something politically odd about Bush’s tour of various Latin American countries. South American nations were ‘lost’ to the U.S. some time ago – the price paid for America’s fixation in the Middle East. Bush is loathed internationally but is particularly despised in Latin America. The Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez accurately called Bush a “political cadaver” and led 20,000 Argentinian supporters in the chant, “gringo go home”, during his counter-tour of the region.

Last part: On the Duty of civil Disobedience (tags)
Though the question of slavery has changed, the question remains: who is enslaved in sweatshops around the world today, and which corporations reap the profit? though today it is not the USA getting away with the land grab in Mexico in 1848, but threatening to once again, along with England, to send Iraq back to the dark ages ignorantly ignoring the fact that they will be found in the dustbins of a holocaust museum in Bahgdad along with the artifacts and skeletal remains found in the desert from the last Persian Gulf war.
A poem of unending confusion

No Blank Check For Undefined War (tags)
No leader should ask for or expect a blank check on support from subjects, local or overseas. Yet Bush says to all nations, those not with us are with the enemy. It appears he lost some moderate Arabs nations already. Such oversimplifications cloak questionable plans. Wise acts can be supported internationally; unwise acts should be opposed. Top of that list is unleashing weapons of mass destruction.

COUP WATCH: FBI To Probe More Minority Disenfranchisement (tags)
According to a report by the Sun-Sentinel, the FBI is investigating allegations that so-called “palm cards” were handed out to Haitians at Precinct 153 in Miami-Dade County that were presented as a vote for Gore, but gave Bush's number on the Miami-Dade ballot instead. It’s perhaps the most novel approach yet that the GOP has discovered to reach out to minority voters--and kidnap them.
