In Choluteca where the social struggle is reputed to be the strongest, a heavy hunt for the ‘leader’ was confessed by the police, and also an 11 year old daughter of a social leader was assassinated.
AL ANUNCIAR EL LLAMADO POR UN CAMPAMENTO, EL Delegado Zero DIJO: “Decidimos mandar un mensaje urgente a los Mexicanos y Chicanos al norte del Río Grande para venir y maximizar el número de personas aquí, crear un espacio seguro, y proteger a las comunidades Cucapá y Kiliwa durante la temporada de pesca.” Después detalló que estos activistas van a formar un campamento de paz en la comunidad y brigadas que van a acompañar a los pescadores y pescadoras al río. Marcos prometió, “la única cosa que no nos hará venir aquí es un pedido formal de las autoridades Kiliwa y Cucapá.”

Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets and marched to demand the immediate departure of Ulises Ruiz Ortiz (URO), liberation for political prisoners, the cancellation of 70 government arrest warrants for people involved in the leaderless Popular Assembly of the People of Oaxaca (APPO, by its Spanish initials) movement and the desire for popular governance. Michael Estrella, a Local Marine Killed in Iraq, Honored (tags)
Relatives, friends and supporters bid their last farewell to Marine Cpl. Michael Estrella in emotional services Friday. Estrella, 20, a 2003 Hemet High School graduate, was killed June 14 in combat in Iraq, the 2,500th member of the U.S. military to die in that country since the war began, according to Marine officials.
