Braun, DEA Chief of Operations, says that the drug trafficking and middle eastern terrorist groups are a “Growing Nexus.” He indicates that there is a growing nexus between international drug trafficking organizations and international terrorism. Mr. Braun believes it is a new hybrid organization funded by international drug trafficking and dedicated to terrorism.
