September 2015 in Honduras. Intensifying repression with soldiers and cops pulling out guns against protesters and in mass evictions particularly where there are occupying farmers. One sixteen year old died this way, and another farmer was assassinated 2 days after participating in a protest. This is mixed with selection persecution against journalists and leaders as they came to control demonstrations. 28 year old loved son of writers was arrested accused of killing lawyer of an elite family - both responsible for the massive IHSS scandal that stole so much from people, and for continuously killing people who are witnesses to the scandal for example. Recent police raids in Sydney and Melbourne have resulted in the arrests of two Sri Lankan Tamils; “two men have appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on terrorism related charges,” ran the intro from one media outlet while another ran with, “men face terrorism charges after raids.” I’m sure we all get the drift but it should be noted that assistant commissioner to the Federal Police, Frank Prendergast, went to lengths "to make it clear that these men weren't involved in any possible attacks on Australian soil.” Well then, what?

The number of ASIO officers from non-english speaking backgrounds has more than doubled since 2004, and the organisation is looking for people with diverse backgrounds to conduct counter-terrorism and counter-espionage work. The intelligence organisation spent more than $2 million on recruitment advertising in 2005-6. The Federal Attorney-General, Phillip Ruddock, says funding for ASIO has also increased considerably. Occupation of the Italien consulate in Bremen/Germany at 3rd of August (tags)
In Bremen/Germany 15 people occupied the Italian consulate for 2 hours. They demanded that ALL the prisoners which are still arrested in Genova have to be free immediately. The occupiers demanded that the following statement was faxed to the Italian authorities and the press from the consulate including an official stamp and the sign of one employee. That happened straight after the beginning of the occupation.
