On October 6, the Trump administration announced it was pulling the small number of US troops out of Rojava/Northeastern Syria who had deterred Turkey. As a result, Kurdish and Christian civilians in Rojava in Northeastern Syria are facing genocide at the hands of Turkey.
Over 11,000 Kurds died in the fight against ISIS. They carved a haven for democracy and women's rights in war-torn Syria.Today, they face annihilation and are forced to flee their homes and become refugees.
We need to stand up united against this aggression and make our voices heard! We have a duty AND the ability to influence the situation and protect the children whose future is being stolen.
