But we also aim to establish Uranium Film Festivals in other countries and cities. The festival has been already for example in New York City, Washington DC, Santa Fe, Window Rock, in New Delhi and Mumbai, in Munich and 3 times Berlin.  <br>  <br> &nbsp; <br>  <br> Now we want to bring the festival for the first time to California and Los Angeles! To make it happen we need&nbsp;supporters and partners in LA. <br>  <br> &nbsp; <br>  <br> The challenge of the Uranium Film Festival is to bring&nbsp;important films about the nuclear question to the big screen, to stimulate the production of new nuclear films and to stimulate the public discussion about use and risks of nuclear power.&nbsp;The&nbsp;horror&nbsp;of&nbsp;atomic bombs&nbsp;and those who suffered from them, and&nbsp;nuclear accidents&nbsp;like Chernobyl or Fukushima should never be&nbsp;forgotten&nbsp;-&nbsp;nor repeated. \"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it (George Santayana).\" <br><br> The legal organizer of the Festival is the non-profit arts and cultural organization &ldquo;Arquivo Amarelo&ldquo;, based in Rio de Janeiro and registered as Brazilian charity.
