March 20 was a Day of Ceremony and Resurgence for Idle No More. In Los Angeles, a vigil was held for two hours in front of CNN. This was Idle No More's second visit to CNN within a week because of continued failure by the mainstream media to cover this world-wide movement.

Idle No More returned to CNN, Hollywood to emphasize the lack of coverage that mainstream media gives to the movement. Twenty people turned out for a candlelight vigil. Many held signs and banners as a drum was played. Although foot traffic was relatively light, several people showed interest--all of our flyers were given out.

Even though we had a pretty good presence, it was emphasized that on a local level we need to get more people involved in this critical movement. It was noted that there's more participation in Idle No More up north than in L.A.

Meanwhile, there is a weekly Idle No More protest every Saturday from 12 to 3 in East L.A. At Atlantic and Cesar Chavez. (More here: https://www.facebook.com/EastLosAnglesSupportsIdleNoMore)
