(That is the law that permits drivers who get caught going through checkpoints without licenses to call a licensed driver to get the car.) If you go through a checkpoint, you must speak up in order to exercise your right, because the police are not informing people of their options. And if they do not allow you to call a licensed driver, please inform us or your local organization.
