Always refused to answer any and all police questions by taking the 5th Amendment and refusing to answer police questions.
The best method to avoid being subjected to this type of police abuse is to take the 5th Amendment and refuse to answer any and all questions asked by the police.
You can do that by telling officer friendly simply:
I am taking the 5th and don't want to answer any questions until my lawyer is present.Don't have a lawyer. No problem. The cops are not supposed to question you until you get a lawyer.
If you have a lawyer they will always tell you that you should never answer any police questions. Protect your self from corrupt police officers and always take the 5th Amendment and refuse to answer any and all police questions.
Per the Supreme Court Case Hibell V Nevada, you do not have to:
If there isn't any reasonable suspicion that a crime was committed you can refuse to tell the police your name.
If the police have "reasonable suspicion" that a crime was committed you can be required to verbally tell the police your name.
But you are only required to verbally tell the police your name.
You don't have to give the police an ID card or even have ID.
You don't have to tell the police your birth date, address or any other information.
