Dear Los Angeles Independent Media Center,

I am writing you today about the upcoming vote at the LA City Council on a resolution calling for a constitutional amendment declaring that only human beings have constitutional rights and stating that money is not the same as free speech.

I have attached a flyer about the City Council meeting and a sample letter to put onto your letterhead and sign.

We are asking you to:

Put the sample letter (or a letter that you write) on your letterhead and return it to us as well as to the City Council.

Ask your membership to attend the meeting on December 6 and\/or contact their City Council Members and urge an aye vote. Please ask your members to RSVP for the council meeting at www.movetoamendla.org

All organizations will be acknowledged as coalition partners and celebrated whether we win or lose - let's work for the win!
