\r\nOur\r\ninstitutional<\/span> corruption spanning the gamut\r\nfrom Mosques to NGOs to the Academy is so widespread that it has\r\nbecome almost invisible and incognizant<\/span>\r\nlike the air we breathe --- but it surrounds us no less. Then pick up Zbigniew Brzezinski's The Grand Chessboard <\/i>and\r\nthe concept of “doctrinal motivation”<\/i> necessary\r\nfor “imperial mobilization”<\/i> will start making\r\nsense: \r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\nCompare\r\nall that book knowledge with the empirical<\/span>\r\nreality, and Bertrand<\/span> Russell's 1952 book\r\nThe Impact of Science on Society<\/i> will start appearing more\r\nself-servingly prophetic than Nostradamus<\/span>:<\/p>\r\n

The chief source of social cohesion in the past, I\r\nrepeat, has been war; the passions that inspire a feeling of unity\r\nare hate and fear.
