{"article":{"id":247645,"heading":"PVM Studios looking for computer programmers to cheat out of their wages","author":"Not those crooks Pierre Joseph and Tagg Ryan","created":"2011-09-07 17:11:43","modified":"2012-05-16 18:04:27","last_modified":"Thu, 17 May 2012 01:04:27","article":"<p>Today is Sunday, September 3, 2011.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nI was looking at Craigs List and I saw this \r\nad posted by\r\nPVM Studios, PVMTV or Paradise Vibe Marketing looking for programmers.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nI suspect they intentional said they were going to actually pay\r\nthe programmers $12-$15 hourly.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nJust let whatever sucker accepts this job and sees\r\nwhat happens when payday comes around.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nIf PVM treats them like they treated me\r\nthey won't get a paycheck, all they will\r\nget is excuses, that the check is in the MAIL.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nEven though the jerks at PVM Studios cheated me out\r\nof the money I earned working them the first time I was\r\nthere I sent them another copy of my resume to the email address\r\njust to document that I replied to the ad so when I sue them\r\nI will have the fact that they received my resume.\r\n\r\nWeb Designer (Tempe )\r\n<\/p><hr>\r\nDate: 2011-08-31, 12:28PM MST<br>\r\nReply to: see below [Errors when replying to ads?]\r\n<hr>\r\n<p>\r\nPVM Web Developer-Designer\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nJOB SUMMARY\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nThe Web Developer-Designer is responsible for the development and design of major and minor Web applications and components for internal and external Insurance system users. The developer will design, develop, test and deliver web sites, applications and components. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to insure the success of the projects. The developer will have the ability to create web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment. They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as, but not limited to, Java and ColdFusion.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nFlexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.\r\n<\/p><p>\r\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\r\n<\/p><p>\r\n<\/p><ul>\r\n   <li>Operates effectively as a member of the development team.\r\n   <\/li><li>Also operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes.\r\n   <\/li><li>Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality.\r\n   <\/li><li>Responsible for the development of web applications and components.\r\n   <\/li><li>Responsible for the design and development of web pages, graphics, multimedia, GUIs.\r\n   <\/li><li>Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format.\r\n   <\/li><li>Utilizes storyboarding and graphic pre-designs where appropriate.\r\n   <\/li><li>Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills.\r\n   <\/li><li>Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.\r\n<\/li><\/ul>\r\n<p>\r\nRequired Skills:\r\n<\/p><p>\r\n<\/p><ul>\r\n   <li>Some experience using the RUP methodology.\r\n   <\/li><li>Experience in developing websites and\/or web applications. Minimum of 2 years of web design and development experience is required.\r\n   <\/li><li>Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.\r\n   <\/li><li>Front-end and some back-end development experience.
