By a 3 to 2 vote on Dec. 21, the Federal Communications Commission approved what they labeled as new \"Net Neutrality\" rules, they assert are intended to prevent giant telecommunications companies like AT&T and Verizon, from acting as powerful Internet gatekeepers.
