On Sunday, September 5th, Manuel Jamines, a Guatemalan migrant, was shot twice in the head on a crowded street by an LAPD officer known in the community for his brutality. Frank Hernandez, the who carried out the shooting, has already been investigated for shooting an African- American woman and then again more recently for shooting an 18-year-old Latino. He has nog been charged with murder or even fired, and is currently on desk duty at the 437 million Parker Center Police HQ.
Eyewitnesses from the community have come forward to expose the police cover-up and revealed that Manuel was unarmed when he was gunned down.
But their testimonies were ignored by the police investigators.
Shooting like this don't occur in wealthy neigborhoods-only in communities where African-Americans, Latinos and migrants live.
The police is trying to cover up the anti-Latino racism tha characterizes their presence in Westlake, but the people are fed up!

El Domingo 5 de Septiembre, Manuel Jamines, Guatemalteco migrante fue muerto por dos tiros a la cabeza en una esquina llena de familias, por el policia Frank Hernandez con una historia de brutalidad.
El policia Hernandez que mato a Manuel, ha sido investigado por darles tiros a una mujer Afro-Americana y mas recientemente a un joven latino de 10 yo. No ha sido despedido o jusgado por asesinato, pero esta haciendo trabajo de escritorio en el Centro Parker hecho por $437 milliones.
Testigos de la comunidad han salido a exponer el encubrimiento policiaco. Ellos dicen que Manuel no tenia ninguna navaja cuando lo mataron. La policia ha ignorado estos testigos. La policia dice que Manuel se avalanzo a los policias con una navaja, y que tienen testigos.
Muertes por tiros de la policia no ocurren en comunidades ricas, pero solo en communidades Afro-Americanas, Latinas y migrantes. La policia esta cubriendo el racismo anti latinno que caracteriza su diaria presencia en WestLake, pero la gente ha dicho Basta!
Demandamos que el Procurador Cooley Ponga Cargos de Asesinato y despidan a el policia Hernandez!
