MP3 AUDIO – Interview with UCLA Student on Protesting the Regents

Close to 400 students and campus workers protested outside the hall. In one incident student protesters charged the police barricades outside the hall.

There are also reports of police violence at the hands of UCPD against students. Witnesses tell of beatings with batons and there are unconfirmed reports of the use of tasers on students outside the meeting hall.

UCLA PD have a disturbing history of over zealous use of tasers on UCLA students (See: 2006: UCPD taser student in Powel Library).

Uploaded is an interview with a UCLA student about today protests. More protests are expected tomorrow on the last day of the regents meeting.
