Around 800 people showed up to voice their anger and share their anguish about the State of California defunding virtually all HIV services.

California has not faced a crisis like this since the 1990s. State funding for vital HIV/AIDS programs have been completely eliminated! Local counties and cities are now cutting other services in order to adjust for the loss of state funding.
These cuts are unacceptable and irresponsible. They risk the lives of Californians living with HIV/AIDS, as well as those who are at risk of infection.
