East Los Angeles Prop 8 Court Decision Protests

There was a bilingual press conference at the East Los Angeles Marriage License Office. It was held immediately after the 6 to 1 decision by the California State Supreme court upholding the ban on Gay Marriage that was decided by voters in last Novembers election.The rally was followed by a civil disobedience that found a number of gay couples sitting in and applying for a license anyway.
