Let's see one million people at this Los Angeles peace demonstration. The world wants to know just how many Americans want peace and want to abolish the fascist terrorist state that is US imperialism. And we Americans cannot live like this anymore. We live in a very rotten, crumbling, viciously fascist society, and it will only get worse of there is no protest. They say cut back; we say fight back! We are black, brown, yellow, red and white, same enemy, same fight, workers of the world, unite!

For more information on transportation and many other useful items, see

http:\/\/www.answerla.org\/<\/a>

For more information, call 213-251-1025 or email answerla@answerla.org<\/a>.

Organizers and Endorsers are:

African Americans Against the War

Alliance for Just and Lasting Peace in the Philippines

Al-Awda, the Palestine Right to Return Coalition

ANSWER Coalition-LA

ANSWER Coalition-OC

ANSWER Coalition-Ventura County

Campaign to End Israeli Apartheid-Southern California

Coalition for World Peace

Code Pink

Comite Pro-Democracia en Mexico

Democratic Club of Westside Progressives

Frente Amplio Popular Los Angeles

Free Palestine Alliance

GABRIELA Network

Global Women's Strike

Hermandad Mexicana Nacional

Iraq Veterans Against the War

Islamic Shura Council of SoCal

International Socialist Organization

January 27th Coalition

KMB Pro-People Youth

Korean Americans for Peace

LA National Impeachment Center

LA Area Iraq Moratorium

La Red de Resistencia Obradorista en California

Latino Movement USA

Military Families Speak Out, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Gabriel

Muslim Student Association-West

National Lawyers Guild

National Council of Arab Americans

Office of the Americas

Palestinian American Women's Association

Party for Socialism and Liberation

Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles

Riverside Area Peace and Justice Action

Students for a Democratic Society UCLA

South Asian Network

Topanga Peace Alliance

US Labor Against the War

United Teachers Los Angeles

VC Stop the War

World Can't Wait

Youth & The overall theme was BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW and STOP THE ATTACK ON IRAN. A die-in of 1,000 protestors with background recorded bombings was very effective, putting the participants in touch with the realities of such attacks and giving a very PERSONAL FACE to the hideousness of the ACTS OF WAR. We need millions in the streets demonstrating their disapproval of this military-industrial-complex-government activities including the ACTS OF WAR, the invasion of our Constitution, the lack of Democracy, and our BODY OF CONGRESS, as well as this administration's, unwillingness to heed the voices of WE, THE PEOPLE!
