I lived on Cornado Island for years, in the 1970's. I've been on that base and flown in a helicopter, over the area. I am not disputing the photos. Someone from design to construction, should have seen the imagery of the arrangement of the four buildings and stopped it from being built. It would be interesting if someone in the San Diego area could get to the builing palns to see who the architec, builders, etc., who were invovled. I search Mapquest and TerraServer looking for strange stuff, but this one is sensational.
