COPS GONE WILD: AGAIN!


Jamar Witherspoon, 18, a Black young man, gunned down by the LAPD. What makes this case different? Or should we say the same? Not because he fit the profile...not because he was allegedly armed and shot at the officers...not because he was black in the hood BUT because he was MURDERED by gang officer Jeff Bright, who coincidentally happened to be the same officer that shot an unarmed 16 year old boy in the back in front of lots of witnesses at Rosecrans Park almost a year ago. Fortunately, the 16 year old did not die but is facing an unbelieveable sentence for something he is totally innocent for. Unfortunately for Jamar and his family and the community, gang officer Jeff Bright was never held accountable for his crimes.

Are we going to let this officer get away with the murder of Jamar Witherspoon? Are we going to let Jeff Bright's false report of what took place at Rosecrans Park last year put an innocent boy away for life? When are we going to stand up and say enough is enough? We want Jeff Bright and other killer cops like him fired, arrested, tried and convicted as the murderers they are! We want justice and we want it now. We want independent investigations regarding these and all incidents.

To Bratton, You may not can be responsible and accountable for what your officers do in the streets But you're responsible and accountable for the discipline you give them. Anything short of what we want done is not acceptable.

Whose next? There have been over 32 reported officer shootings with 15 resulting in death. There has yet to be an officer convicted for these killings.
