Dear Friends:

On the fourth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq and the death of my son Jesús Alberto, I will begin a fast in front of the San Diego Federal building on March 27 at midnight. The fast will last two days to symbolize the two hours that it took before my son received medical aid as a U.S. Marine slowly bleeding to death after he stepped on an illegal U.S.-made cluster bomb. I cannot bleed for two hours but I can fast for two days in order to protest the deaths of our young soldiers and marines as well as those of innocent Iraqi children. I also fast to oppose the sending of more U.S. troops.

I invite you to join this small demonstration of our disgust with Bush's criminal war. You are all welcome to accompany me for however much time you can spare so that I am not alone. If you cannot join me, do whatever you can to show your disapproval of the war.

Amigos, En el marco del 4 aniversario de la guerra y del fallecimiento de mi hijo Jesús Alberto, el próximo día 27 de Marzo a partir de las 00.01minutos, iniciare una huelga de hambre enfrente del Federal Building de San Diego, serán dos días de huelga, porque dos días, porque mi hijo sufrió una agonía de desangrarse por dos horas cuando la bomba ilegal americana lo hirió, yo, no puedo desangrarme dos horas, pero si dejar de comer por dos días, y además lo hago como una protesta por las muertes de nuestros jóvenes soldados y los niños inocentes de Irak, y como una forma de protesta por el envió de mas tropas.

Los invito a unirse a esta demostración de repudio a la administración del criminal Bush, así mismo, invito aquellos que puedan a ayudarme a no estar solo durante esas 48 horas de ayuno. Todos son bienvenidos, todos pueden hacer algo para demostrarle al mundo nuestro repudio a la guerra.
