The Iraq war is obviously on quite a few minds lately. In response to President Bush's decision the send additional troops overseas, the January 27 Action Coalition organized a Rally and March set for today. The day started at the Democratic headquarters in downtown L.A.. The procession then moved through the streets until they reached the Federal Building. An estimated 12,000 people showed up for the event. The amount of passion from the participants was overwhelming. One man in particular struck a cord with me. His best friend, Army Specialist Sergio Gudino, was killed on Christmas Day in Iraq.
