More than 300 workers, students and activists came from around LA to protest the Iraq war and Bush's announced escalation on Wilshire and Western on Jan. 11.
Protesters took over all four corners of the street and many marched from corner to corner through traffic. Passersby honked in support.
There were over 20 additional vigils in the LA area on Jan. 11.
Come together to oppose the war in mass numbers on March 17, 2007 at Hollywood and Vine. That day, the fourth anniversary of the war, will be a mass march and rally in coordination with a march on the Pentagon.
Help build the protest and the movement against war and racism.
