\r\nThe\r\nsoya would have to be genetically engineered because GM soya\r\ncontamination is so widespread and no non-organic company will use\r\nincreasingly expensive organic soya.

\r\nA private organisation\r\n(Green Action) tested the soya (the Israeli government evidently would\r\nnot) and found, as one would expect, that the soya was genetically\r\nengineered.<\/span>

\r\nGenetically engineered\r\nmaize (corn) -- <\/span>clearly linked to anaphylactic shock -- and soya<\/span>\r\nare very common, almost ubiquitous in processed foods. When I\r\nread the\r\ningredients on a package or can, I can no longer find a product that\r\ndoes not contain at least one GMO, and usually I find two or more.

\r\n<\/span>\"Vegetable\r\noil\" generally means it was derived from GM soya. \"Lecithin\" is almost\r\nalways GM soya lecithin. I have found products advertised as\r\n\"organic\", indeed given a seal of approval by an organic association,\r\nwhich used GM soya lecithin.

\r\nCoca-Cola contains GM corn (maize) fructose. <\/span>

\r\nCottonseed oil and canola (oilseed rape) are other GM ingredients.

\r\n Vitamin C<\/span>,\r\nascorbic acid, is derived from GM maize, and Vitamin-E<\/span> from GM\r\nsoya. The scandal of popular health supplements involving\r\ngenetic engineering !!

\r\nMonsanto's\r\ngenetically-engineered artificial sweetener<\/span>, Aspartame<\/span>,\r\nis an insidious worldwide presence in processed foods -- about 6,000 of\r\nthem -- and of course is found in diet drinks.

\r\nThere is only one way to overcome this extremely powerful, \r\nruthless Corporation-Government-corporate Mass Media axis.

\r\nIt\r\nis to conduct grassroots Public Education Campaigns to educate and\r\npolitically activate the General Public, university \/ college students\r\nin particular.<\/span>

\r\nThe General\r\nPublic<\/span>\r\n!! Stop forever talking to the Converted. \r\nTo get around the\r\ncorporate media's suppression and distortion of truth, one\r\nmust talk<\/span>\r\nto people and go\r\ndoor-to-door with leaflets and vocal messages. <\/span>
\r\nAnd major efforts must be made to inform and activate <\/span>university students.<\/span><\/span>

\r\nWhen they talk about being 'practical' and seeking 'Coexistence'<\/span>\r\nwith GM, let a red\r\nflag<\/span> go up.

\r\nNothing short of OUTLAWING GENETIC ENGINEERING and PATENTS ON\r\nLIFE-FORMS will save us and our planet.
