Ten people arrested at the South Central Farm today.
Ten people were arrested at the South Central Farm today. Two of the arrestees were minors and were released without charges The adults were taken to newton station and charged with felony vandalism. Many arrestees were beaten by police or private security before being arrested.
Farm organizers are asking people to call Jan Perry and encourage her to "represent the underserved residents of the 9th council district" by acting to stop the bulldozing. Council member Perry's phone number is (213) 473-7009.
Organizers are also asking volunteers to come to the farm before dawn on the morning on July 6th.
