The US has finally woken up.

They invaded Iraq, got rid of Saddam and handed it over to Iran.

It’s a bit late in the day now to start bitching about it.

What did they think? That a bank robber and Iranian informer like Chalabi could replace Saddam?

Now the US Ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad said the United States will cut financial aid to the country.

The US provides billions of dollars of financial aid to Iraq for the country to strengthen its police and military forces all under the control of Iran, he reminded.

Khalilzad criticized the Iranian demand for the withdrawal of the British troops from Basra.

He said when he looked the map last time, Basra was still in Iraq but under the control of Iran.

He can stay looking at the map forever for all the good it ill do him.
