If you're about to go on lunch break you can check it out, as it'll go on until 1pm or so.

Mr. Horowitz is being protested by activists, students, and people involved with the South Central Farm, a large community garden/farm on Alameda at 40th, in South Central Los Angeles. Horowitz is the owner of the property, which, for the past 12 years, has been a community farm feeding 350 families. During this time, the property was owned mainly by the City, but in 2003, ownership was sold to Horowitz, who has said he will drive the people off.

The farmers wish to keep the site as a farm, and demand that the city give Horowitz another piece of property in exchange. The price paid for the property is $5 million, for some 14 acres.
