Camp Casey Is Here To Stay
\r\nby Maioan Person
\r\n
\r\nVERSE 1
\r\nIt's been tough on the frontlines in the fight against the war,
\r\nBut finally there's a hero we have all been waiting for.
\r\nCindy Sheehan has declared that our kids should die no more,
\r\nSo she sat down to confron the man who began this war.
\r\nHer son was killed in Iraq, he was only 24...
\r\nSo, she has asked the President \"What did my son die for?\"
\r\nNow the name of Casey Sheehan shall live forever more;
\r\nThe camp that bears his name has redefined the war.
\r\n
\r\nCHORUS
\r\nCamp Casey is here to stay, it's coming to your town.
\r\nThose who wish we would go away cannot deny we have found
\r\nA common thread that is raisng the dead to bring the masters of war down.
\r\nCamp Casey is here to stay and it's right here in our town.
\r\n
\r\nVERSE 2
\r\nMany Soldiers have died, Casey's not the only one,
\r\nBut now the mistake we've made is summed up in one mothers son.
\r\n& for every soldier that has died there is at least a hundred more
\r\nInnocent civillians who have given their lives for
\r\nThe lies of those who try to claim we are fighting to defend
\r\nFreedom or security as an excuse to send
\r\nOur young men and women to die in a foriegn land
\r\nIn order to profit off the oil hidden beneath the\r\nsand.
\r\n
\r\n\r\nREPEAT CHORUS
\r\nCamp Casey is here to stay, it's coming to your town.
\r\nThose who wish we would go away cannot deny we have found
\r\nA common thread that is raisng the dead to bring the masters of war down.
\r\nCamp Casey is here to stay and it's right here in our town.
\r\n-
\r\nOh god, I am sorry to say, there is a Casey Sheehan from every town.
\r\n-
\r\nIt's been tough on the frontlines in the fight against the war,
\r\nBut finally there's a hero we have all been waiting for.
\r\nCindy Sheehan has declared that our kids should die no more
