Monthly Message from Pastor Logan
Re-Marchable 2005
Hey family,
I hope that this moment during which you read this communication from me finds you strong in the Spirit of the Lord. Now and next are the key terms that drive what I want to say to you. Now is my coveted opportunity and privilege to give commendation, kudos, props, and thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is the only true and living God. For his ultimate sacrifice on Calvary’s cross to save us from our sins words cannot express my deep sense of gratitude. Thanks and appreciation to you Bethel family as you continue in the press of representing real family fellowship and unity. Hearing of and seeing your tremendous sacrifices is rewarding because I see Jesus in your every endeavor to serve the Lord and your brothers and sisters.
You may think that no one knows what you are doing but God knows and allows us to see your efforts. Bless you Bethel family because of your faithfulness to the Lord you made history as you paid the first half of your budget in excess of ,000 without one special fundraiser. We are where we are because our fore-parents who had to do such things brought us to this level where we can do what needs to be done through our collective tithes and offerings alone. While going to the Mid-year conference this week March 16-18, 2004 I am thankful to God for you that we have been able to meet our budgetary responsibilities together.
Congratulations to our missionaries on the occasion of your annual day of celebration. You are off the hook! Thanks to our very able president, cabinet, and competent corps of dedicated sisters and brothers who think and act globally and locally. You are touching the World in Word and deed! Time is drawing nigh for our 2nd family gathering scheduled for Monday 28th 6 p.m. family potluck dinner, 7-8:30 p.m. family meeting. Our next Quarterly Conference is Thursday March 31st at 7 p.m.
Please join with our dedicated prayer warriors in agreement that during this month of Marriage and Family emphasis, God will raise up leaders for our couples ministry, singles ministry, single mothers ministry, single fathers ministry, board members for our CDC, and a child-care provider who will lease our available space. Further, please pray that the Lord will bless us with leadership teams for our Women’s Day in May, and Men’s Day in June. We want to be able to seek and celebrate our purpose in the Lord as Women and Men who are heaven bound and earthly relevant (Titus 3:8, 14). Also, pray that the Holy Ghost enable us to achieve our monthly goals set during our official board for meeting. (See below)
Next During our Economic Empowerment Month in April prepare to host both district and community events. Thursday April 14- Saturday April 16, 2004 we host our LA Pasadena District Conference. I need everyone to be available to assist with your presence and support during anytime that you can offer to your church. There will be sign up sheets in the vestibule (entrance lobby) of the church within two weeks for you offer yourselves for some specific task or responsibility. Saturday April 30th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is our first annual Community Wide Economic Empowerment Summit, during which we will experience a series of interactive workshops regarding homeownership, retirement planning, taxes, getting out of the bondage of debt, investment clubs, credit union, credit repair, and banking. Into your lives I speak deliverance from financial bondage, success in your every God driven endeavor, and wholeness in every area of your lives.
Finally, just in case some of you who have given class dues pastoral support did not get a personalized thank you card with your special prayer and meditation scripture from me I pray right now that as you read these words, God will bless you in Jesus’ name with the joy, peace, reconciliation, and healing of the Holy Ghost in your interpersonal relationships (Romans 14:17).
Your Servant,
Lewis E. Logan, II
