It's still dead in there, but, the information is as good as ever.

The California Election Web Forum is a place to post your research and opinons about the numerous propositions on the ballot. This year, there are a few doozys.

Props 68 and 70 are all over the tv, what status should tribal gaming, and gambling in general, have in this state?

Prop 62 would radically alter the primary system. Prop 60 is a defensive move to preserve the status quo. Who benefits?

Prop 72 would mandate that medium and large employers pay for most of health insurance costs. This is a serious bill, and is one that seems to be under the radar.

Prop 63 would tax millionaires to fund mental health care. This is another important health law.

Prop 60A is an odd one. It mandates selling surplus property to pay off deficits.

These and the rest can be discussed here on the newswire, but, by using a forum, you can be sure the arguments will stay up all the way to election day.<\/p>\n","contact":"","link":"\/www.riceball.com\/drupal\/","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"text\/plain","summary":"A sleepy forum to advocate or defend your favorite (or most hated) propositions.","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/","filesize":null,"article_url":"\/news\/2004\/10\/117678.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
