On the third day of the G8, \r\n the March for a Free Palestine began at Overlook Park with \r\n a story circle before being overshadowed by the Breakaway \r\n March to Sea Island. Many stories relating the Occupation \r\n of Palestine to the Occupation of Iraq to the Occupation of \r\n Brunswick.<\/p>\r\n

Roughly 75 people including \r\n a small black bloc broke away from the Free Palestine March \r\n and took over the causeway. Activists wanted to legally \r\n walk the crosswalks at the intersection of route 17 & \r\n the Causeway, the only road in & out of Sea Island, and \r\n were denied. <\/td>\r\n On 6\/5, the Florida \r\n Coalition for Peace and Justice completed its 140 mile walk \r\n for global justice from its Teaching Farm in Graham, Florida \r\n to Brunswick, Georgia for the G8 Summit.
