The campaign states that the two main dangers for the people’s health are imperialist wars of aggression and occupation on one hand, and the privatization, liberalization and commericalization of health care, imposed by the World Trade Organization’s TRIPS and GATS, on the other. And that it is through the concerted people’s efforts that these stumbling blocks to health can be removed. \r\nThis short animation serves to illustrate the campaign for a broad public, using internet arts. It tells the story of Vimalla, a girl who dreams about getting healthy, and of her mother, who knows what is to be done to achieve health for all. \r\nTo view the animation about Vimalla, click the less mark at the end of the sentence.\r\n<\/p>\n","contact":"info@health-now.org","link":"http:\/\/www.health-now.org","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"image\/jpeg","summary":"Health care in times of imperialism and war.\r\n","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/2004\/06\/vimallaweegmedi.jpg","filesize":"11.3 kibibytes","article_url":"\/news\/2004\/06\/112005.php","image":{"original":"\/uploads\/2004\/06\/vimallaweegmedi.jpg","small":"\/uploads\/2004\/06\/vimallaweegmedi.jpgthumb.jpg"}},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
