Each day, this system\r\nchips away at what little is left within nature and\r\nwithin our hearts. It crucial that we begin to\r\norganize collectively in order to build a solid\r\ncommunity, capable of carrying on the struggle for\r\na different world.\r\n\r\nLiberation Weekend will take place this Saturday,\r\nMay 15th in Los Angeles. Along with relevant\r\nworkshops, the forum will feature speakers such as\r\nRod Coronado, Leslie Pickering, & Kevin Jonas. The\r\nnext day, we call for Anarchists from across the\r\nsouthland to converge in Orange County for a\r\ngathering that will provide the groundwork for the\r\nSouthern California Anarchist Federation.\r\n\r\nWhat: 1st SCAF gathering\r\n\r\nWhere:  Hart Park, located at 701 S. Glassell,\r\nCity of Orange (in Orange County). On our way to the conference we were pulled over by the FBI and the Riverside PD. Rob was arrested and is now in jail. Below is more info. If you could let people know at the conference what has happened it would be much appreciated.\r\n\r\n---------------------------------------------------------------------\r\n\r\nHi, \r\n\r\nMy name is Nick Evans and I was just let go by the FBI  and the Riverside PD who had detained me a little while earlier along the street. From the last I saw Robert Middaugh was still in handcuffs. We were driving along the road when the FBI had pulled us over. An FBI agent with a machin gun or rifle looking type gun first told Rob Middaugh to get out of the car then myself. They handcuffed both of us and split us apart by a little distance. They then tried some small talk and asked me some questions and told me they were there for Rob and that I was detained and now I was released and I could go. When I saw Rob last he was surrounded some by FBI agents and also members of the Riverside Sherrif Department. He was sitting on a curb.
