It may only be symbolic, since our government has refused to join this international body. But that is exactly the point: we have no government to represent us in this instance, when the government itself acts outside the law and refuses to tell the truth.

The address to write at the ICC is:

otp.informationdesk@icc-cpi.int

en la lucha,

Terry Burke

==========================

Dear Sirs/Madams of the International Criminal Court,

I am a citizen of the United States, today in distress over the continued illegality of the regime which sits in the White House in Washington DC.

In regard to the unfolding events in Haiti, I have heard from reliable sources that the President of Haiti, Jean-Bertrand Aristide, has been kidnapped and removed from his office and country at gunpoint by agents of my country's State Department and military.

I do not feel that I can trust the investigative authorities of my nation, either law enforcement or legislative, to honestly determine the truth in this grave matter.

I have written to my legislators on several occasions during the last few years expressing my adamant opposition to the invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq and the attempted coup in Venezuela and interference in upcoming democratic elections in El Salvador. In this most recent instance of illegal behavior by my government in regard to Haiti, I have written my legislators demanding relief in the form of Impeachment proceedings.

I am now writing to your good offices to seek relief in the form of an investigation of charges that my government has violated numerous international laws in the matters named above and others.

I do so because I fear for my nation, whose citizens are held in a state of critical ignorance of many facts by a mass media which is unwilling to make facts generally known and frequently has performed as a facilitator of outright untruths which have benefited the government's illegal policies and actions. I fear that as citizens of a democracy, all of us are liable for the actions of our government. If in fact my government is acting as a "rogue state" in support of terrorists, coups and illegal invasions in the world, it will be fair to judge that it has been the citizens of my nation who bear responsibility. I write to establish that there are some among us who have and will continue to protest these illegalities. We will work day and night to alert our fellow citizens to the dangers of allowing these illegalities to continue in their name.

Thank you for your serious consideration of these thoughts. I am sad to make these comments, for it is my greatest hope that I am wrong. The United States was founded in a revolution which has advanced the development of the human race and that legacy is the one to which I remain loyal. My Constitution and Bill of Rights have been and remain the source of my Liberty, and I write to defend them from further abuse at the hands of a small group of disloyal political powers whose actions have tarnished the flag under which they have acted.

sincerely,

Terry Burke

480 East Del Mar Boulevard

Pasadena California, 91101

United States of America

626 796-5805

elbop@sbcglobal.net

elbop@sbcglobal.net
480 E.
