Usually, I'm defending it, but, I also think it's an easy cop out to use identity politics in place of something more tangible.\r\n\r\nI think IMC is pretty good on getting racism issues interwoven through the site, less good on integrating the core collective with the various communities in LA.  \r\n\r\nThe situation with gender and feminist issues is a lot worse.  I think the site reflects a lot of the sexism of society.
