Referring to President Bush's wierd science, he said: \r\n\r\n \"I'm not aware that [Nixon] ever hand-picked ideologues to serve on advisory committees, or dismissed from advisory committees very well-qualified people if he didn't like their views.... What's going on                       now is in many ways more insidious. It happens behind the curtain. I don't think we've had this kind of cynicism with respect to objective scientific advice since I've been watching government, which is quite a long time.\" \r\n\r\nPeriodically, wierd elements show up at the table of government and must be removed.\r\n<br>\r\n<\/p><div align=\"center\">\r\n<br>\r\nsend this cartoon to a friend!<\/div>\n","contact":"mshaw@bagnews.com","link":"http:\/\/www.bagnews.com","address":"","phone":"","parent_id":0,"mime_type":"text\/html","summary":"The President Is Subverting The Basic Elements Of Government  Science And Research","numcomment":0,"fileurl":"\/uploads\/","filesize":null,"article_url":"\/news\/2004\/02\/103548.php"},"attachments":[],"comments":[]}
