a) Comcast monitors all bandwidth consumption with or w\/o user's knowledge\/consent.
b) Users segregated into \"banned\", \"suspended\", \"succesfully converted\", \"current 99%\", \"next top 1%\" bins using data from a).
c) Cherry Hill (NT HQ) send warning letters out based on b)
d) Extortion works, user comforms to a \"face-less slug\", update b)
e) Extortion does not work 1st time, (ie 2nd letter)
..... i) Suspend service so they get a taste of no-connection status
..... ii) Re-affirm threats, re-connect service eventually
f) If user conforms, go to d)
g) User doesn't conform, ban for year. update b)
h) Loop a) through to g) until further notice.
No major media has given adequate (or any) coverage of this story.
Most users would leave CHSI in a heart-beat but they hold a monopoly in Broadband HSI in most parts.
Comcast refuses to state the \"limit\" of their \"unlimited use\" service.
All this, while they upkeep their 24\/7 marketing-blitz \"now 2x the speed\", etc.
