Car lover’s flocking to view the new models and perhaps have a sit in their dream car were witness to a community action demanding fuel-efficient vehicles and adequate public transportation. Part of the awareness effort included hybrid cars and bicyclist cruising the street greeted by cheers. Hummers making the gas-guzzling trip to the convention center were soundly booed.
