Matt Gonzalez is making a bid in the run-off election that pundits said would never happen.

If you are around this evening, Enemy Combatant Radio will be streaming live from Gonzalez headquarters in the Mission! We will be interviewing

different community activists and Bay Area people on the street as they await the results of one of the most historic races in recent history!

Many sectors of the community, including labor, education, queer advocacy, the working class, people of color and anti-capitalist activists have bridged quite a few hurdles in the past several weeks to get to a place where the Brown Machine is perched precariously at the edge of annhiliation. San Francisco is making a claim to progressive politics

and many people that haven't voted in past elections are finding a voice in a campaign that has remained grassroots from start to finish and placed an

emphasis on a no-apologies criticism of the machinery that drives capitalism at the expense of the poor and working class.

With reports already coming in from the Anti-Fraud crew at HQ of Newsom's aides bribing people $50 a piece for their votes and harrassing and intimidating residents in Bayview-Hunter's Point (so what else is

new?), it is more important than ever that independent media be allowed to shed some light on what is at stake for the community at large.

Regardless of tonight's outcome, Enemy Combatant Radio will continue to watch those in power in City Hall, regardless of their political affiliations and we hope that you tune in! Spread the word and stop by

tonight to share your thoughts and concerns on the mic!

Check out: www.enemycombatantradio.org starting at 6pm for the start of the broadcast and tune in until the cows come home!

www.enemycombatantradio.org

www.indybay.org

Other allies:

www.liberationradio.net

Special live audio coverage from an historic election in San Francisco at: http://enemycombatantradio.org
