The following events are scheduled: <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> 1. Presentation (video)- \"Why I Am Not Thankful for Thanksgiving.\"   <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> We will show a video of a presentation\/discussion by CCA members, Ce Coatl and Tenamazti Tonantzin.  They discuss the origins of the Thanksgiving holiday and the devastating effects of colonization on Indigenous people. <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> 2. A representative of the Ajachamen people will discuss their situation at Putiidhem and their struggle to stop development on their burial ground in San Juan Capistrano. <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> 3. Vidal Hua'can of the Taino Nation (the first people Columbus encountered) will speak about their struggle for self-determination and recognition and their fight to stop the recognition of \"Columbus Day\" as a national holiday. <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> 4. Kwaku Duren of the New Panther Vanguard Movement will discuss the need for Indigenous and African solidarity and resistance. <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> A discussion\/dialogue about planning for future actions will follow the presentations. <br>  <br>   <br>  <br> The event will take place at the Cultural Center of Mexico at 1522 S.
