Discussion boards do tend to attract all the different species of troll and flame warrior there are.\r\n\r\nThe peculiar thing about applying this to the IMC model is that in order to personalize an ignore list (and provide other common features such as personal messaging and buddy lists), you have to have a registered membership structure. How that's going to fit into the Indymedia culture is anybody's guess. It'll be interesting to explore it, though.\r\n\r\nMessage board packages also often include another feature which the LA collective might want to implement, since the next escalation of the hatefreaks' war on this site is easily predictable as a repetition of behavior exhibited on other IMCs.\r\n\r\nIt's called &quot;flood control&quot;.
